Anna's Birthday

And the month of birthdays is winding down...

Anna celebrated her eight birthday at the park. She wanted a puppy party. So we had a puppy piƱata and a dog themed bounce house.

Here is her new friend QiQi, also adopted from China.

Mia and QiQi's older sister organized the activities.

There was a lot of table standing!

That evening John and Carolyn took us on a boat ride around Naples Island!

Anna wanted a new mermaid tail from Mom and Dad. We surprised her with a bikini she has been asking for for a long time too!

The next day was her actual birthday and she requested In n Out for dinner. We went out with Becky and family but I didn't get any pictures. Happy Birthday sweet Anna!

Soccer and Baseball

A few Saturdays ago we got to see Maks play soccer!

This is his first year so it's been a steep learning curve being on a team with boys that have played several years. But he always does his best!

Who is that lady with the wrinkly neck????

Later that day we met Joey and Family for a Dodger game.

Manny Machado bobble head night!  We also took Benji to the gift shop and got him a birthday present.

It's always a good day when we get to see four of our six grandkids!

Maks' Birthday

We have a lot of birthdays in September, Becky, Benji, Maks and Anna! For Maks' birthday dinner he wanted Chinese. Lots of times I cook the birthday dinners but we are still in a hotel!

Maks is always happy!

Martina and David joined us for the dinner.

We had a quite a feast!

And we sang Happy Birthday.

He is a lego fanatic!

The next weekend we went to Legoland for his party.

Not only to love taking pictures of kids from behind, I love it when they hold hands!

Moorpark

A few weeks ago we went up to see Joey and the kids.  It takes about an hour and twenty minutes which is much better than a plan ride! We went to brunch and then over to the park.

After the park we went over to Sunday Funday at the gym!

It's nice to be close to their sort-of cousins.

Dan's Family

One perk of living in this area is we get to see a lot more of Dan's side of the family. We went to his cousin Brad's retirement party. Brad was a geriatric pharmacist.

Mia played chess with Brad's grandson while Anna went to town at the stencil table.

The girls have been able to spend time with their second cousin, Olivia, at Sheila's house.

Another sweet selfie.

Becky's 30th Birthday

Becky was hoping to be in her new house by now and celebrate her 30th birthday there but has we well know, remodeling doesn't work that way! So on the day of her actual birthday we took them out to CPK.

For a party she wanted to do something the kids would enjoy so we took them all to the pirate show! Oli was entranced the whole time. He barely ate anything, riveted to the show, and hasn't stopped talking about it since.

We routed for this guy!

We had a front row seat!

These three have so much fun together!

Mia, Anna and Maks were chosen to participate in the final victory scene!

So much fun! Food was not nearly as good as Medieval Times though.
