Sheri, Deirdre and I decided to take a girls trip to Waco.
We made sure to stay in a Fixer Upper house! There were several for rent and we chose the Giraffe House.

On our way to the silos, some college students tried to get us to take a bus tour. We refused. On the way out, they gave us a huge discount so we decided, why not? It was really fun and we were glad we did it. We learned so much about the town we never would have otherwise.

The next day we visited the famous JD's place from Fixer Upper.
We tried to crash the Bush compound but we only got as far as the dogs outside the gate. The Secret Service guy wore a Hawaiian shirt and, of course, had a great conversation with Sheri.
We also hit up the library at Baylor which did not disappoint.
We spent the last night in Austin before going home.
