We were able to get a cabin in Crystal Cove for two nights. They are all pretty rustic, but this one was a little more than others. Nevertheless, it was two beautiful days in February so we felt lucky.
The first night it was just the four of us.
The sunsets here are breathtaking.
The next day Beth and family and Becky and family came to hang out for the day.
We walked over to the tide pools.
For lunch we walked up the stairs to Crystal Cove Shake Shack (not part of the chain).
After a long day of beach play, we got take out and hung out at the house.
The kids played drive-the window.
Only the girls and I spent the night as Dan was golfing the next day
and the beds are really not comfortable.
The next day Melissa and the kids came to hang out.
Another beautiful sunset.
We finished off the trip with dinner at The Beachcomber.
