Motorhome Trips July 2020

Time to take out the new RV!
For our first rip we went very local in case we had any problems, Bolsa Chica.

You can't beat the view.

We burnt the patty pan cakes over the campfire.

Let the fort building begin!

For our second RV trip we went a little further, Carpenteria.
That's not our RV in the background.

There were campfires...

...and beach days.

There were cookouts...

...and even a birthday cake!

Happy 35th Joey!

Night time fun!

After two local trips it was time to take the RV on the road!
First stop, Mesquite. We stayed at an RV park attached to a hotel with a swimming pool.

We parked our RV at this brand new campground in Larkspur, Colorado for four nights.
The amenities were amazing.

The girls were excited to see Lorelai.

Deirdre and I took them to the best zoo in the world, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Mia got to spend some time with her friend, Ellie.

Michelle watched all the girls while Dan and I went on a five mile hike through the woods.

We had dinner at Mark's house. The view from his back deck never gets old.

On our way back home we stopped at the Glenwood Springs Resort.
There are several pools with different levels of heat.

Here is the view from our campsite near there.

We saw people rafting down this river so we decided to sign up for it.
Luckily, they had an opening the next morning.

Anna was a little apprehensive.

When there weren't any rapids they let Mia sit up front.

Our last stop was Arches National Park.

It was a great trip but we decided we prefer a car for a road trip.
So from now on, we'll be using the motorhome only for local camping trips.
