Martin Visit December 2023

Something is wrong with this site or me. It says this post was published 1/1/24 but it also still has the publish button highlighted. Then it says three people have read it but it doesn't show up when I look at my blog. So I'm going to hit this highlighted publish button!

We are lucky to have Beth and her family visit many times each year.

They came on the 28th for a holiday visit. It also happened to be Dan's 64th birthday!

Yep, this picture made the blog, Greg.

As usual, it's apple pie for the birthday boy!

The next night we took the kids to a pirate show and home for a slumber party!
This was our pirate, Jose. He was super friendly for a pirate. 🤣

The show was pretty cheesy but the kids loved it.

The kids all got to participate, as well as myself.
Paige, Oli and Chase went onto the boat for a skit.

Maks, Mia and I got to hoist flags in a race.

Back at home the kids played and ate a whole other dinner as the food at the pirate show was pretty bad.

The next day we all went to the South Coast Botanic Garden to see the giant trolls!

It was a big group!

These are some interesting fig trees.

And the last one...which we almost missed.

The next day was New Years Eve and it was time for the annual Polar Plunge!

And then it was off to Becky's house for a New Year's Eve party!

Mia spent hours with Mavis.

Time for the countdown...at 8:14!

Followed by kid fondue!

It's always nice to know we will see the Martins again soon!
